Pascale Malingré
Born in 1967 and brought up in Cabauw, in Utrecht province in the centre of Holland. In 1986 Pascale started studying in Rotterdam, where she remained until Hotel Freeland took her to Amsterdam. Her work has always been in education, first as a teacher and later as deputy headmistress in a primary school in Rotterdam-Zuid. Pascale always manages to combine the typical Dutch decisiveness of a deputy headmistress with the common sense of her rural origins and the urban geniality and sense of humour that are so characteristic of Dutch cities. In our hotel you will invariably find her at breakfast, where she will take good care of you, and she has also emerged as the great administrative power behind the hotel. She always loves a good cup of coffee, so you will be welcomed in reception at any time for a cup of coffee and a chat, perhaps about art, literature, sport, flowers, or the cultural life of Amsterdam, all favourite interests of Pascale.
Approachable, tolerant and dedicated ... that’s Pascale.
